In November 2022, work was completed on replacing the current C-Lift force main (6") with a higher diameter pipeline (16") to accommodate more volume of flow. The existing line had reached its capacity and was not keeping up with the load requirements under abnormal conditions. The new larger line follows the same route of the previous line, running from the C-Lift station along 6 Ave NW to Main Street. The line was installed using excavation and trenching methods due to potential risks associated with Horizontal Directional Drilling.

This work was funded through Utility Reserves, and we thank all residents for their cooperation during the road closures and detours associated with this project!
