The Town of Slave Lake is looking for feedback from local business operators and residents on what services and/or companies they would like to see added to, or expanded, in our community. This information will be used by the Town of Slave Lake to attract and possibly incentivize target industries and/or companies to begin or expand operations in our Town.

By attracting different industries and service providers to our Town we are hoping to make our local and regional economy more resilient to the boom and bust cycles that typically come with the Resource Extraction Industry (Oil and Gas, Forestry) and provide a positive economic outlook for future generations in our community.

Previous surveys had suggested that increasing tourism and its infrastructure should be a priority for the Town however, it is important to note that the Town of Slave Lake does not currently own or control any waterfront property besides from Big Fish Bay. Any development in the Old Town area would need to be initiated by the MD of Lesser Slave River. Any development in the Devonshire Beach Area would need to be initiated by Alberta Parks.

Please take some time to fill out the short survey below. There is an opportunity to provide additional comments in the survey.
