As part of the Town of Slave Lake's rebranding and new visual identity project introduced in 2022, the Town is looking to replace the existing 'Welcome to the Town of Slave Lake' signs located on Highway 2 (both westbound and eastbound) and Highway 88 (southbound) and is seeking residents' input on the preferred sign option.
A community's brand and visual identity is similar to a personality. Its attributes define who and what a community is all about. Successful brands inform stakeholders, in a memorable way, about the community, its people, and its core values. The total cost to replace all three existing signs is approximately $85,000.
