What We Heard - Town Logo
Throughout the branding and logo design process, the Town conducted 27 stakeholder interviews with business and community leaders and received 122 community responses via a survey to gain feedback on the need for a new visual identity and logo for the Town. Respondents included business owners, community associations and groups, regional partners, Council and Town staff. The following summary of results indicates that there was a strong desire from community leaders and residents to rebrand and change the visual identity and logo for the Town.
How Much Did It Cost?
The total cost for the development of the Town Brand and Visual Identity was $198,000. Of this, the majority ($167,000) was spent on developing and executing all the elements outlined in the Brand Implementation Plan. The remaining $31,000 was spent on goal and objective setting, community engagement, and development of the Visual Identity.
The Brand Implementation Plan provides a practical, actionable branding implementation plan that can be executed quickly to obtain targeted results. The Plan outlines all recommended next steps in detail both in-region and in-market, including specific deliverables, expected outcomes, and critical tactics intended to spur interest and understanding in the region and beyond. The most substantial expense ($150,000) outlined in the Plan is the branding of all Town equipment (truck wraps and decals), interior and exterior signage, and communication and engagement collateral. This is expected to be completed in 2023 and 2024.
